together-apart

One of the challenges as we kick off this holiday season is social distancing at a time of year that celebrates togetherness. We understand the reasons and importance but still want the feeling of closeness from family and friends that may be in another house, another state or another country. I have some good news. We have graduated from the days where mail and telephone were the only options; we have several ways we can reach out to talk, video chat and text with our family and friends. I understand it is no replacement for face to face interaction but it just may lift our spirits a little higher. Below are the most common ways you can reach out and video chat with family and friends while still social distancing.  See below on how to use popular apps and links for video calling.

Common ways to video chat with friends and family this holiday season

Zoom call

Zoom – Zoom is an app you can download on most cell phones or you can download on your PC if you have a web camera.  This is a popular video chat app that can be downloaded to your phone or used on your computer.

Here is a support page on Zoom on how to host a video meeting.
