Three tips to maximize the moment that sparks joy:

1. Recognize what about the thought sparking joy

 Recognize those thoughts that bring you joy and peace.

2. See the evidence of truth that is sparking joy

Recognize the truth found in your thoughts. For those good thoughts, bring to mind those associated memories, beliefs and thoughts to have your brain more easily bring these to mind more often. Positive Neuroplasticity tells us that neurons that wire if it a negative thought – challenge it and if there is no evidence – let it go out of your mind.

3. Recognize how to spark joy beyond this moment

You have the magic wand to make a change in how you think. You can overcome the difficulty to pause, review, let go of what is not serving you and grow what does serve you so you will be on your own side.
Give yourself grace to be your own best friend and challenge to let go of those thoughts that don’t serve you and grow those that do.
Neuroplasticity tells us that neurons that wire together fire together. When you have those moments that spark joy, see what is novel about the moment and take it in with all of your senses to maximize the moment. Take 1-3 seconds to associate the experience with the feeling of joy. This will help you be the leader of your life where you are leading your thoughts versus your thoughts leading you.
